When did “Curiosity” Die?

Curiosity: has been defined as an important and natural urge to discover and grow as a human being. It makes us learn and survive and create opportunities in life.

Theoretical physicist, Albert Einstein, is best known for developing the theory of relativity. His mass-energy equivalence formula E=mc2 has been called the world’s most famous equation. Einstein once said that he wasn’t extraordinarily smart or talented. He just considered himself very curious.

The emotion of curiosity represents a thirst for knowledge – it is a major driving force behind scientific research and other disciplines of human study.

Many historical events have occurred without the general public’s knowledge – much of it because there was a lack of curiosity.

The satire, Just Call Me Source, and a recent film, The Sound of Freedom have illuminated the human trafficking tragedy at the southern border of the United States.

Just Call Me Source tells the story of Rape Trees that populate the southern border in several states. The trees display women and children’s underclothes, that have been taken from them, after they have been brutally raped by drug and sex traffickers. The clothes are “trophies” for the abductors. Many women have reported that they had been raped, by human traffickers, as many as five times before they were able to reach their destination in the United States.

The Sound of Freedom is an American film released in 2023. A former American government agent embarks on a mission to rescue children from sex traffickers in Columbia. The epilogue of the film claims that there are more people enslaved today than at any time in history, including when slavery was legal.

All victims featured in Just Call Me Source and The Sound of Freedom are poor, uneducated, helpless, women and children of brown color.

Even though many Americans have become slaves to their I Phones, I Pads, and computers daily, they are woefully ignorant about what events are occurring in the world – and at the very worst – they don’t care.

WHY?

Before the Internet and high-tech personal devices, the following had occurred:

President Franklin Roosevelt – and his staff were aware of the concentration camps operating in many countries of Europe. The camps were murdering millions of Jews, Catholics, Gypsies, and Communists. He failed to inform the American public about these atrocities.

President Harry Truman – was informed about the potential devastation of an Atomic Bomb explosion. He failed to inform the American public about its incredible potential to destroy humanity.

Franklin and Truman – were aware of the purges of millions of Russian dissidents and high-ranking military officers, being conducted by Joseph Stalin and his brutal regime, before and after World War II. They never informed the American people about these atrocities as they were occurring.

Mao Zedong – and his regime murdered 71 million Chinese people over three decades. American government agencies were knowledgeable of the massacres taking place, and they never informed the American people.

President John F. Kennedy – was assassinated in 1963. Hundreds of books and millions of words have analyzed the assassination. The government official report, “The Warren Commission” has been ridiculed and criticized for some of its methods, important omissions, and conclusions. In 2023, a former FBI Agent, who was a member of the security, detail admits that he mishandled the “Magic Bullet” thought to have been shot at the President. Many of the official government investigation reports are kept secret – over sixty years later.

Present Day: Since the Internet and high-tech personal devices have evolved:

Global Warming has transitioned to Climate Change – Why is it impossible to have intellectual discussions between those who believe in Climate Change and those who are skeptical, without rancor?

The Southern Border – Lack of security at the southern border has allowed millions of immigrants to cross illegally. The drug Cartels are trafficking drugs, like Fentanyl across the border with impunity, resulting in the deaths of over 100,000 young Americans each year.

WHY?

Maybe it’s because to most Americans – it doesn’t matter – or they don’t care.

Curiosity died a long time ago.
